Old privy in a riverside garden in Kington
I understand that old bottom of the back garden loo's cannot or should not be demolished, though why I can't really say. Maybe it is because they serve as reminders of a time when push-button convenience and all mod-cons wasn't the norm. This example is very evocative of an era when personal comfort definitely came low down the list of criteria for such an installation.
