Boundary stone on south side of Draughton Moor
Boundary stone on south side of Draughton Moor
This is shown on the 1:2500 map of c.1965, from which I have measured its grid reference assuming that it is at the change of mereing where the parish boundary meets the wall. The stone is built into the boundary wall of Draughton Moor, and my guess is that it predates the wall and marked the township boundary across the moorland before the field to the south, in Silsden, was enclosed.
