NZ5021 : Middlesbrough Dock

taken 16 years ago, near to Middlesbrough, Great Britain

Middlesbrough Dock
Middlesbrough Dock
Viewed from the top of the Transporter Bridge. Sadly Middlesbrough Dock (in NZ5020) is no longer in use although the area is designated for renovation as "Middlehaven". The ship in view is permanently moored and is used as a night club. In the centre distance 8 miles away can just be seen Roseberry Topping (in NZ5712).
Nothing else of any significance in the grid square! On second thoughts I ought to mention the Riverside Stadium, home of Middlesbrough Football Club. It's just to the left of the ship.
