NO1617 : Waterlogged field

taken 13 years ago, near to Aberargie, Perth And Kinross, Scotland

Waterlogged field
Waterlogged field
This field is poorly drained and in early April was quite wet. Compare it to the adjacent NO1617 : Newly sown field, south of Culfargie, which has a modern drainage system installed.

When we walked through the field, a surveyor was using GPS to map the boundary of the field together with obstructions such as trees and a power line poles. This is the first stage in improving the drainage.
