This is a battle re-enactment during IFOS 2005. It reminds me of a quote from the start of the invasion of Iraq. After Geoff Hoon had said in the commons that "Umm Qasr is a city similar to Southampton", a TV crew interviewed a squaddie in Umm Qasr who said "He's either never been to Southampton, or he's never been to Umm Qasr." Another soldier added: "There's no beer, no prostitutes and the locals are trying to kill us. It's more like Portsmouth."
