Dylan Thomas' boathouse at Laugharne
This building will always be associated with Dylan Thomas although in reality he may well have written comparatively small sections of his work here. He rented this place between 1949 and 1953, the last four years of his chaotic, creative and charismatic life which was often peripatetic and seemingly more focused on boosting the profits of breweries than creating truly deathless poetry.
