Part of the Nant Llech Audio Trail
This audio point is ingenious and as far as I know a unique feature of the trail towards Henrhyd Falls. I was a bit bemused to spot it but it plays an engaging digital tape featuring a female presenter with a distinctive local accent introducing locals with intimate knowledge of the area, in the case of this point a man who remembers the trees being felled for the Great War in 1914 and a poignant event resulting from that. A massively valuable resource and an event that I would never have been aware of any other way. Other audio points are sited along the valley.
