Magheramorne jetty, Larne Lough
The jetty served the Blue Circle cement works. It handled bulk and bagged cement for the owners and certain other cargoes for a local trader. Blue Circle (now Lafarge) moved to Belfast harbour. The jetty is now closed to shipping.
The dredger "Bar Maid"
The “Bar Maid” was dredger, built by Cooks of Wivenhoe in 1977, for Coleraine Harbour Commissioners. Her main job was to maintain the navigable channel on the River Bann, between the Barmouth and Coleraine harbour, although she also undertook contract work elsewhere when requited. Sold in 2000.
