SU2179 : Bridleway crossing Liddington Hill

taken 18 years ago, near to Badbury, Swindon, England

Bridleway crossing Liddington Hill
Bridleway crossing Liddington Hill
This bridleway forms part of the Ridgeway National Trail. This is not the historical route of the Ridgeway but a more scenic (and tougher) alternative which follows the downs in a great loop from Liddington round to Barbury Castle via Ogbourne St George. This part has a very different character to other sections of the Ridgeway.
