NJ3458 : Hygrocybe conica
near to Fochabers, Moray, Great Britain

Hygrocybe conica
This is growing in the middle of my lawn. It is the middle one of three, about a foot apart, roughly in a straight line. Could they be growing on a long root of a fruit tree? The other two are smaller with a more orange-coloured cap. NJ3458 : Hygrocybe conica is the same fungus two days later, and NJ3458 : Hygrocybe conica is a younger one.
