SN1840 : "You shall not pass until you give us a shrubbery!"
near to Rhos-Hill, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

"You shall not pass until you give us a shrubbery!"
Following a normal footpath across fields and cow pasture you suddenly enter a new, slightly bizarre and surreal environment when you enter the 'grounds' of Ty-hen Farm - for it is no longer a traditional farm, but planted to parkland with a great variety of shrubs and trees that you might more readily expect to find in your local park (even down to the occasional park-style bench), or the garden of an avid gardener. And that is essentially what it is - on a grand scale, with I estimate some 10 acres planted in this way. Someone has bought the farm and spent the last 25 years growing a park.
