St Caimin's Church of Ireland, Mountshannon
St Caimin's was built on the Tandy Estate in 1789, the mason being John Boyle. Repairs were carried out in 1831, when the west tower was added by John Boyle Junior. The parish (Inis Cealtra) was in County Galway until 1898 when it was transferred to Clare, and hence from the province of Connacht to Munster. Link
