St Caimin's Church of Ireland, Mountshannon
St Caimin's was built on the Tandy Estate in 1789, the mason being John Boyle. Repairs were carried out in 1831, when the west tower was added by John Boyle Junior. The parish (Inis Cealtra) was in County Galway until 1898 when it was transferred to Clare, and hence from the province of Connacht to Munster. LinkExternal link

Since this photograph was taken the ivy has been removed from the walls and the hedge has engulfed and hidden the railings, as can be seen on Google Streetview.
