Hindhead Tunnel Vision Day
On 14 May 2011, the yet-to-be-opened Hindhead Tunnel was opened to allow people to walk through it, prior to its official opening to traffic later in the year. Visitors were bussed to the northern portal. Behind the bus is the new Miss James footbridge.
