Gussage Down
Gussage Down
This is the view across Gussage Down from a pleistocene river cliff in a now dry valley. There is a well in the foreground. A long barrow is visible on the horizon to the left of the photo, and the course of the neolithic Dorset Cursus makes its way under this spot and up the hill to the barrow, although its parallel banks have long since been destroyed by farming activity.
