SU1420 : The Breamore Mizmaze
near to Upper Street, Hampshire, Great Britain

The Breamore Mizmaze
The mizmaze (turf maze) is part of the Breamore House estate, in a copse about a mile northwest of the house. There are claims that it is prehistoric - it is possibly built on top of a round barrow - but in keeping with the other mizmazes in the country it is most likely medieval in origin. The pattern is the same as that in the nave of Chartres cathedral, France.
