This rotary parlour which is a PER (Parallel External Rotary) at Broadwigg Farm near Whithorn is the largest of its type in the Machars. A total of sixty milking stalls (60 point) rotate through a full cycle in about 10 minutes enabling the 1100 dairy cows on the farm to be milked in four hours, three times a day at 5.00am, 1.00pm and 8.00pm.
