near to Broxburn, East Lothian, Great Britain

Former quarry fence
Former quarry fence
Notices remain even after the quarry has been landscaped. A good place for birds (except cliff nesting species) but birders get harassed here occasionally. Climbing is strictly forbidden on the grounds that there are no crags.
Limestone for the cement works is now being extracted on a new site further east.
