Bradwell Power Station

This is Bradwell nuclear power station as seen from the approach road. The reactors were housed in the twin blocks and the turbine hall is the lower building to the left of the picture. You can see another view at TM0008 : Moody Magnox (Bradwell Nuclear Power Station). The station is in the process of being decommissioned even the visitor centre has closed down. The electricity generating companies want to reuse the high voltage infrastructure to feed the national grid from a wind farm to be built near here. However, there is fierce local opposition.
