At the end of Hollingworth Lane. The paved path is waymarked as the Towneley Loop (part of the Pennine Bridleway). Mary, Lady Towneley, rode from Derbyshire to Northumberland to highlight the state of the country's bridleways and campaigned for The Pennine Bridleway for many years. She died in February 2001 after a long and bravely-fought illness.
