From beside the junction shown in SS8019 : Junction near Densdon Gate, a view down the western edge of a buttercup-filled field towards the apparently well-wooded area where the headwaters of a tributary of the Sturcombe River gather. But most of the trees are along field boundaries between similar fields - a bocage landscape. The isolated tree is close to a defunct field boundary still shown on the 1:25000 map.
