SD9421 : Wiggly stream through the peat, Walsden Moor

near to Warland, Calderdale, Great Britain

Wiggly stream through the peat, Walsden Moor
Wiggly stream through the peat, Walsden Moor
This is the same stream as in SD9421 : The path to Warland Reservoir, about 10m downstream. The peat layer is quite thin, on top of boulders and bedrock. The boulders perhaps cause the changes in direction of the stream channel.
