Unusual manoeuvres
Unusual manoeuvres
Normal operating practice at Parkside Fire Station was for returning engines to drive in through the back entrance (seen in TL4558 : Fire practice tower, Cambridge fire station) so that they were immediately in the ready position. This was the last day of operation, the back entrance had already been boarded up, and these two had to perform 3-point turns on the front apron and reverse in through the front doors.
