SZ3695 : Tanners Lake and shore, New Forest

taken 12 years ago, near to East End, Hampshire, Great Britain

Tanners Lake and shore, New Forest
Tanners Lake and shore, New Forest
This shore is the only place where the New Forest meets the sea (or more correctly The Solent). Lymington spit is a nature reserve, forming a salty marsh between the shore and the open Solent. Droppings from the New Forest ponies are visible on the beach.
