Near Strathmore
Only the roofs of Strathmore are visible from here because of the lie of the land. A new path, part of a network around Tarland, runs parallel to the road between two new fences. It isn't obvious from the Tomnaverie Stone Circle car park, because you don't actually see the signs to the 'alternative route' from the access road, but once you are on it, it is quite well waymarked. The foreground sign indicates where the path crosses the B9094.
