Ditton Brook runs out into the Mersey at 496839. There's a footbridge over the brook and this picture is taken from the bridge looking upstream.

The square shaped object on the left hand side about half way down was a loading dock for exotic materials for the tanning factory which existed on this site for many years. (thanks to Joe Cowley for the info)
