Old Chapel
Old Chapel
Old Chapel, at the top of Chapel Hill, opened in 1840. It replaced an earlier Unitarian chapel which dated from 1707 but had been damaged beyond repair by a terrible storm in 1839. The opening of the new chapel was celebrated on 26th August 1840 but the interior was not fully completed until 1845.

The chapel is Grade II listed.
