Disused Bridge at Merrivale, Dartmoor
Disused Bridge at Merrivale, Dartmoor
The turnpike bridge over the River Walkham at Merrivale. This bridge is now disused, having been superseded by the road bridge built in the 1950's with stone from nearby Merrivale Quarry. The bridge is often visited by patrons of the Dartmoor Inn, 50 yards behind us.
