TQ5815 : Cattle Creep Bridge
near to Burlow, East Sussex, Great Britain

Cattle Creep Bridge
The low walls of the railway bridge were not designed for pedestrians, bicycles and horses. Some unique railings have been fitted to each side to prevent any falling beside what is now the Cuckoo Trail. The bridge would have provided access for farm vehicles beneath the railway.
The Cuckoo Trail
This 13 mile (21km) surfaced path through the Sussex countryside is mostly traffic free and is a safe route for walkers and cyclists of all ages, forming part of the National Cycle Network – route 21.
The picturesque trail follows the former 'Cuckoo Line' railway track and stretches from Heathfield to Eastbourne Park. It passes through Horam, Hailsham and Polegate.
