NG8924 : The road up Carr Brae

near to Keppoch, Highland, Great Britain

The road up Carr Brae
The road up Carr Brae
At one time this narrow, steep winding road up the brae was the main route east up Loch Duich, one of the many difficult spots on the Highland roads, much treasured by the more adventurous. Now it's a quiet and rewarding route for the more discerning tourist.
