Most of the area known as 'The Saints' in East Suffolk is fairly flat; here is one of its few 'hills'. There are seven parishes with the name 'South Elmham'; each is preceded by the name of its church, hence St Peter South Elmham, St James South Elmham, St Margaret SE, St Michael SE, St Cross SE, St Nicholas SE and All Saints South Elmham. The last two have now combined to form a single parish. The population of all these parishes is less than 500. Link
