The starting point of the Derwent Valley Heritage Way in the car park at Heatherdene alongside Ladybower Reservoir. The Derwent Valley Heritage Way is a 55 mile walk following the river from Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District National Park to Derwent Mouth, where the Derwent flows into the River Trent.
