White Wells on Ilkley Moor
White Wells on Ilkley Moor
For over 250 years this distinctive white building has stood alone on Ilkley Moor overlooking the town in the valley. It houses a spa bath, and it was popular in Victorian Times for those taking the waters - including Charles Darwin. To day it is a splendid place for tea and cakes, offering superb views to the north.
Recently been re-painted, making it more distinctive in its moorland surroundings.
