Benenden

Benenden is a village six miles west of Tenterden. The village was a centre of the Wealden Iron industry in Mediaeval times. The village has a range of services including two pubs, church, primary school, village hall, butchers and Post Office. On the northern edge of the village Benenden School, a girls' independent boarding school, is located.
