Horse and Jockey
Horse and Jockey
The derelict remains of the Horse and Jockey pub at the junction of Huddersfield Road and Standedge Road. Before the construction of the M62, this was a very busy trans-pennine route and the Horse and Jockey was a thriving business in the 1950s and 1960s but this derelict shell is all that now remains.
