Disused wharf near Mount Pleasant, Stoke-on-Trent
South of Whieldon Road Bridge (No 112) on the Trent and Mersey Canal. This wharf is long, and there were extensive collieries and iron works south and south-east of here. I would appreciate some guidance from a local industry historian regarding what was actually loaded onto the narrowboats from this wharf.
