Wall/fence junction on Hard Rigg with boundary stone
Hard Rigg is a location on the watershed between the Rivers West Allen and Nent, both utimately joining the River South Tyne. The boundary stone is one of a sequence having deeply cut letters; H on one side and W on the other. Additionally the stones are numbered on top but in this case the number was not recorded. The wall runs away into the distance towards Whitfield Moor.
