Norwegian Church, Cardiff Bay
Norwegian Church, Cardiff Bay
Built by the Norwegian seafarers' mission, Sjømannskirken, in 1868, the church is now used as an arts centre. The church is located on the edge of the former Cardiff docks, which are now mostly redundant. The path across the barrage towards Penarth begins here. The church was originally located elsewhere in the docks when it was used as such. It closed in 1971, was dismantled in 1987 and rebuilt here in 1992.
The Norwegian church is registered in the Coflein[1] database LinkExternal link .
