View from the Cardiff bay barrage
View from the Cardiff bay barrage
Looking out across the Bristol Channel/Môr Hafren towards the islands of Flat Holm and Steep Holm. From this angle, they look as if they were one, but in fact there's about 4km of water between them. The buoys on the right indicate the approach to the locks in the barrier.
Although not 'ancient and historic' yet, the barrage is registered in the Coflein database LinkExternal link .
