Groynes below Penarth Head
Groynes below Penarth Head
At low tide, the path at the base of Penarth Head gives easy access to the lower parts of the town towards the south. Sets of steps have been provided to cross each of the groynes. The photo was taken from the base of the western breakwater of Cardiff bay barrage. The island of Flat Holm lies in the distance.
