Milford on Sea: the boulders of Hurst Spit
Looking along this mile-long spit from its western end - the end by which it is attached to the mainland. The spit leads to Hurst Castle and lighthouse and gives shelter to Sturt Pond, to the left. I am not sure exactly what the boulders comprise, but this image tries to give an idea of how the small glass-like pieces reflect today's sunlight; it was really more striking than is gleanable here.
The land across the back is the Isle of Wight.
