Ivy House Lift Bridge east of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent
Bridge No 11 on the Caldon Canal is operated electrically by boat crews. There used to be a very heavy manually operated bridge here. The housing beyond the bridge is very recent. Large areas of ex-industrial land in the area have been cleared and are being redeveloped for residential and smaller business use.
