Pen-pych from Blaencwm Road

The bracken of the roadside verge gives way to the woodland of the Penpych Woodland Park and then the steep vertiginous slopes of the hill climb up to the skyline. It's a real neck-craner. On my approach walk a young Rhondda kid of about ten years, on spotting my walking garb and seeing me take this photo said "Dun go up there, you'll fall off!"
