Out into the open

Up to this point the footpath has been constricted by houses on one side and a brook on the other suddenly, though, it emerges into open fields. The far end of the wooden fence marks a junction in the path; straight on to Rock End, left to the Wickenstones and right to the housing estates to the east of Biddulph.
