Brompton Cemetery, near Earl's Court
Brompton Cemetery is a large cemetery in West London, which opened in 1840. It covers a 16½ hectare site. The cemetery is managed by the Royal Parks, under contract to the government, making it the only cemetery under the control of central government.
The cemetery chapel is believed to have been modelled on St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
