SP2069 : Garden walls, Rowington Hall

taken 7 years ago, near to Rowington, Warwickshire, Great Britain

Garden walls, Rowington Hall
Garden walls, Rowington Hall
The Hall itself is elusive but is Grade II listed: a late 18th-century stone house with a slate roof.
According to Douglas Hickman's 'Warwickshire' (1979), Rowington was "an early clearing in the Forest of Arden, and a parish in late Saxon times. Spared the fate of Claverdon by Birmingham's green belt, Rowington seems untouched by the 20th century."
