Looking upstream from Park Bridge
This old one lane bridge is the only crossing of the Dee between the Milltimber crossing and the main crossing that connects north and south Deeside somewhat east of Crathes. It is not far from the ford that the Romans would have taken on their marches from Raedykes to Normandykes. This location is also not far from the site of one of the earliest prehistoric timber houses in Scotland.
