The Orangery is a Grade I Listed Building, designed by Sir William Chambers, and built of brick with a stucco render. It was completed in 1761, as evidenced by the carved dates in the keystones above the main windows in the two outer bays, so it was exactly 250 years old when photographed here in 2011.
