This is the entrance to Little Wickenstones Farm, off to the left, and Firwood House straight on. The public footpath follows the route towards Firwood House, crosses the Staffordshire Moorlands Way and then leaves the track going off to the right and crosses the fields to end up on SJ8958 : Firwood Road on the edge of Biddulph.
