Historic site south of Moulton near Spalding

To the untrained eye this is just a mound and dike in the middle of fenland farmland several kilometres from the nearest village. However it is actually an ancient Moat in King's Hall Park the history of which dates back to the 11th century and is well documented on the following web site Link
It makes a pleasant change to the usual subject matter in the fens - farming, drainage, lanes, pylons etc
