Connel Bridge
Built in 1903 by Arrol of Glasgow, Connel Bridge brought the Connel - Ballachulish railway line over Loch Etive at the Falls of Lora. When the railway closed in the mid-1960s, the bridge became part of the A828 Oban - Fort William road, although vehicles had used the bridge for some years on payment of a substantial toll to British Railways (I believe two shillings and sixpence per car - a huge sum in the 1960s).
